I'll dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
